Annie S. Alexander Memorial Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,800
Deadline: 4/1/2018
Eligibility: High school seniors, traditional college students, and adult college students pursuing full-time undergraduate nursing degrees; preference given to African-American students. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
Area of Study: Nursing

Blacks at Microsoft (BAM)

Award Amount: $5,000/year for up to four years
Deadline: 3/1/2018
Eligibility: Black high school seniors who plan on attending a four-year college in the fall; students must have a minimum GPA of 3.3 and demonstrate financial need
Area of Study: Engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or select business programs (such as finance, business administration, or marketing)

CBC Spouses Heineken USA Performing Arts Scholarship

Award Amount: $3,000
Deadline: 4/20/2018
Eligibility: African-American or Black high school seniors and college students with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Area of Study: Majors in the performing arts including, but not limited to, drama, music, dance, opera, marching bands, and other musical ensembles.

ESA Foundation Scholarship Program for Minority Students

Award Amount: $3,000
Deadline: 4/26/2018
Eligibility: Women and minority students with a minimum 2.75 GPA; students must be graduating seniors or current college students.
Area of Study: Any that lead to careers in computer and video game arts

 

Fontana Transport Inc. Scholars Program

Award Amount: $5,000
Deadline: 3/14/2018
Eligibility: Low-income, minority high school seniors; must be first-generation college-bound students and have a minimum 3.5 GPA.
Area of Study: Transportation, math, science, engineering, architecture, environmental design, PreMed, psychology, Spanish language/literature

Jesse L. Jackson Sr. Fellows Toyota Scholarship

Award Amount: $25,000-$75,000
Deadline: 4/15/2018
Eligibility:  College students who will have sophomore status in the fall, are in financial need, and who have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Students must also demonstrate participation in community service.
Area of Study: STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) or business

Leon Bradley Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,500-$2,500
Deadline: 5/31/2018
Eligibility: Minority students seeking their initial teaching certification or administrative credential. Applicants must reside in these states/provinces or be currently matriculating at a college or university within these states/provinces: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Providences of Manitoba and Ontario Canada.
Area of Study: Education, educational administration

National Press Club Scholarship for Journalism Diversity

Award Amount: $2,000
Deadline: 3/1/2018
Eligibility: Minority high school seniors who are preparing to enter college and intend to become a journalist.
Area of Study: Journalism
