We hope you’re enjoying a well-deserved summer filled with sunshine, relaxation, and good vibes! Whether you’re a student catching a break, a parent soaking in family time, or an educator recharging, Red Kite is here with simple tips to help you make the most of your summer and stay on track with scholarship applications.
Here are a few fun, easy ways to fit scholarships into your summer:
1. Take advantage of downtime
Whether you’re waiting at the airport, on a road trip or enjoying a quiet evening, set aside a few minutes to apply for a scholarship. A short application can go a long way.
2. Make it part of your routine
Treat scholarships like a weekly to-do: block out time once a week to search or apply. Consistency makes the process more manageable and more effective.
3. Study date = money date
Meet up with friends and challenge each other to apply for one scholarship before relaxing together. Sharing resources and encouragement can make the process easier and more enjoyable.
4. The “commercial rule”
Waiting for your show to load or a game to update? Use that time to draft a short answer or search for new scholarships.
5. One-a-week challenge
Pick one day a week to apply for just one scholarship. That’s up to 8 chances to win money by summer’s end!
